Simply put, Buzzsprout will provide you with virtually all of the services you need to get started. All that's left for you to do now is use your creativity to come up with a podcast that will resonate with your target audience.

However, you are not absolutely alone in this respect. A few ideas for creativity can be found on the Buzzsprout website.

In this Buzzsprout analysis, I'll go over the service's functionality. I'll even take you through the price structure so you can perform a cost-benefit study.

Review of Buzzsprout: The Easiest Way to Begin Podcasting

I'll illustrate how Buzzsprout will help you meet your target audience online in this section of the Buzzsprout summary.

It's as easy as this: if you want people to listen to your podcast, you must list it in all of the common directories.

Buzzsprout assists you by taking care of the heavy lifting. It will list your podcast on the following sites:

  • Apple Podcasts
  • Spotify
  • Google Podcast
  • Stitcher
  • iHeart Radio
  • TineIn + Alexa

People can find your podcast in those repositories by looking for keywords. That's why you should use search words specific to your brand and business in the title and overview of your podcast.

Buzzsprout's In-Depth Analysis of the Features:

Magic Mastery (it Secret Weapon)

In this segment of the Buzzsprout summary, I'll describe Magic Mastering, a patented technology that increases the consistency of your podcast audio files.

Magic Mastering can be compared to an audio Instagram filter. It takes what you already have and strengthens it.

In a nutshell, the podcast can sound cleaner, crisper, and more in line with existing industry audio norms.

Both episodes should be “pre-conditioned in such a way that the average loudness holds about -16 dB LKFS, with a +/- 1 dB tolerance and a true-peak rating that doesn't surpass -1 dB FS,” according to the Apple Podcasts Authoring Best Practices.

It isn't quite that easy, however.

Apple adds to the confusion by stating that material that has been highly compressed and amplified can be too noisy and cause distortions. Low audio levels, on the other hand, will have the necessary range, but the sound may be too quiet or unintelligible.

To put it another way, you've got to nail it. You, like Goldilocks, must choose the just-right alternative.

This is where Magic Mastery fits in. It will upgrade the audio compositions to adhere to Apple's Authoring Best Practices for Podcasts. Encoding for the spoken word (96k mono) or music is also optimized by MM (192k stereo).

“In addition, Buzzsprout will use an adaptive leveling process to compensate for any noisy volume variations between different speakers or parts in your episode, as well as small issues such as noise and hum reduction.”

The below is a list of how Magic Mastering boosts your audio:

  • Smart Adaptive Leveling – Corrects speaker level disparities. There will be no more distracting podcasts where one voice is louder than the other.
  • True Peak Targeting – Master the audio level of your podcast. This is beneficial for listeners who jump from one podcast to the next.
  • Removes noise in each audio area with Audio Sweetening. It also reduces obtrusive low frequencies. Power line hums and electromagnetic interference are no longer a problem.
  • Optimized for Content – Improves the quality of your podcast file for speaking or music whether you're giving a virtual concert.

Bear in mind, though, that the Magic Mastering service will cost you extra money.

“Ensuring an audio file is properly leveled, screened, pre-conditioned, and encoded requires considerable computing power since the audio file must be processed several times,” according to Buzzsprout. Buzzsprout has also licensed sophisticated algorithms from Auphonic to ensure the best possible performance. As a result, we'll have to charge a nominal fee to offset these extra costs.”

Easy Optimization

I'll explain how Buzzsprout optimizes the file in this segment of the Buzzsprout analysis.

You won't have to think about bitrates, file forms, or ID3 tags with Buzzsprout. All you have to do now is upload the audio file, and Buzzsprout will handle the rest.

It will maximize the episodes not only in terms of audio, but also in terms of date and time of release.

You can either post your podcast right away or set a date and time for it to go live.

Simply set it and forget about it!

Dynamic Content tool

I'll illustrate Buzzsprout's Dynamic Content tool in this section of the study.

Pre-roll and post-roll segments can be added to your podcast episodes using this app. You may also delete segments.

What does it have to do with anything? It allows you to deliver a note to all of your podcast listeners, regardless of the episode they're listening to.

Buzzsprout Transcriptions

How would you like to make your podcast accessible to people who have trouble hearing?

On that front, there's good news: Buzzsprout will transcribe your podcast episode for you.

Use the transcript to make your podcast more available to search engines, speed readers, and those who have trouble listening.

Buzzsprout Podcasts Player

You can also insert a podcast player on your website using Buzzsprout.

You don't really need to know how to code to do this. You can add the player if you know how to copy and paste.

Visitors to your website will then listen to your podcast in addition to reading your blog's material.

Review of the Monetization System by Buzzsprout

You may also use Buzzsprout to monetize your podcast through affiliate marketing.

According to Buzzsprout's website, the organization has collaborated with a variety of brands to assist you in monetizing your podcast shows.

Bear in mind, however, that if you're using the podcast to create brand recognition or develop yourself as an expert in your industry, you may not want to go that path. If you do, you risk irritating people with advertisements and losing interactions that you might have made otherwise.

Analytical tools

Buzzsprout, like all good digital marketing resources, has a monitoring feature that helps you to learn more about your podcast's scope.

You'll find out who listens to your podcast, where they visit, and how many users have downloaded it.

Use this information to fine-tune the podcast so that it reaches the widest possible audience.

Pricing policy of Buzzsprout

For Buzzsprout, you'll have to pay a monthly fee. The cost of the subscription charge is calculated by the number of hours you wish to upload per month.

You will get started for free if you want to upload no more than two hours a month and hold your podcasts for a lifetime of 90 days.

Yes, that is right. It would not cost you much to do so.

However, you don't want your podcast episodes to be wiped after three months. Fortunately, Buzzsprout offers a number of low-cost choices.

You can upload three hours of podcasts for $12 a month, and the organization can host them forever.

Keep in mind that I believe "indefinitely" here refers to the length of time you continue with the service. So, if you cancel, your podcasts will most likely be lost.

It will cost you $24 a month if you want to upload 12 hours of podcasts.

The Magic Mastering service costs between $6 and $12 a month. However, the free option would not contain that.
